Retailers
Currently, LFL Valuations work alongside a number of retailers across Scotland to provide valuations in store. The content of these is exactly as if you were to contact LFL Valuations directly. If you are a jeweller and would like to work with us, please contact us on contact@lflvaluations.com
Fees
Fees are based upon a per item basis plus documentation. Your document including one master copy, inclusive of photographs in a folder and one abbreviated postal copy which can be forwarded to your broker or insurance company.
Valuation for all purposes
Report creation fee- £65. plus:
Gemset item - £70. each
Non-gemset item - £50. each.
Watches from - £50. each.
Low value items listed under one heading - £90. per heading
Exceptional item - £165. upwards depending on complexity:
Items that have numerous stones of various species or sizes which require multiple calculations and researched assessments.
Re-valuation
Report creation fee- £65. plus:
All item types – 50% off previously listed prices.
Postal fees
Post is typically charged at;
£15.00 - Royal Mail Special Delivery Service (Including Insurance)
£7.00 - Royal Mail 1st class signed for (Documentation postage only)
Appointment Fee
A maximum of £0.45 per mile.
This inclusive surcharge has been created to allow for a token contributuion towards the escalating cost of travel.
However, we at LFL do not charge for local appointments within a 20 mile radius of KA10 postcode reference in Ayrshire.
